Our lab research contributes to advances in the fields of movement ecology and ocean technology through the development of novel Lagrangian instruments designed to observe larval navigation (U-DISC) and open-source softwares designed to examine transport and population connectivity (CMS).
The University of Miami Tritium Laboratory is a world leader in environmental tritium, CFCs and SF6 measurement and analysis in water, with over 45 years of experience. Our goal is to provide sensitive, accurate and timely measurement of these environmental tracers to the hydrologic community.
The CMS is a multiscale stochastic Lagrangian framework developed by Paris' Lab at the Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science to study complex migrations and give probability estimates of dispersion, connectivity, fate of pollutants, and other Lagrangian phenomena. This repository facilitates community contributions to CMS modules.
Hansell Lab - Our dissolved organic carbon (DOC) lab is involved in a program that provides Consensus Reference Material (CRM) to the international community of DOC analysts.
